Ihr k\u00f6nnt unm\u00f6glich nach S\u00fcdamerika reisen, ohne Rio gesehen zu haben!\u201c &#8211; diesen Spruch h\u00f6ren wir sehr h\u00e4ufig, so das wir einen Umweg per Flugzeug in die Stadt machen. Die Entscheidung ist \u201egoldrichtig\u201c, die Stadt zieht uns sofort in ihren Bann. Die Menschen unterschiedlichster Hautfarben vor Ort verspr\u00fchen ein vibrierendes Lebensgef\u00fchl, tropisches Flair trifft kosmopolitische Weltstadt, <a href=\"https:\/\/dreamtworeality.de\/?p=621\" target=\"_blank\">k\u00f6stliches Essen<\/a> und Samba \u2013 diese Kombination ist unschlagbar! Wir d\u00fcrfen K\u00fcche, Wohnzimmer, Balkon nutzen \u2013 haben also eine eine \u201erichtige Wohnung\u201c zur Verf\u00fcgung. Wir genie\u00dfen es, nach monatelangem Aufenthalt in Hostel-Zimmern unsere Rucks\u00e4cke einmal vollst\u00e4ndig auszupacken und uns \u201eauszubreiten\u201c. Unsere Gastgeberin Sonia ist supernett und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir bekommen von ihr viele \u201eInsider-Tipps\u201c und weitere Infos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zum Copacabana-Strand sind es knappe 10 Minuten zu Fu\u00df, Liegest\u00fchle &amp; Sonnenschirm kann man zum fairen Kurs mieten. Wir genie\u00dfen den Ausblick auf Meer, Zuckerhut und vorgelagerte Inseln. Hier ist auch unter der Woche immer etwas los, im Strandstuhl wird es nicht langweilig: Sonnenhungrige, Fu\u00dfballspieler und Strandverk\u00e4ufer sorgen f\u00fcr Abwechslung. Die Strandverk\u00e4ufer liefern alles n\u00f6tige direkt an den Liegestuhl: Getr\u00e4nke (Limonensaft, Mate-Tee, Milch aus jungen Kokosn\u00fcssen, vorz\u00fcgliche Caipirinha) und Essen (gef\u00fcllte Teigtaschen, Shrimp-Spie\u00dfe, frisch ger\u00f6stete Erdn\u00fcsse). Wer m\u00f6chte, kann sich zus\u00e4tzlich mit Strandt\u00fcchern, Schmuck, Bikinis oder Sonnencreme eindecken. Neben Fu\u00dfball und Volleyball ist die brasilianische Kombination aus beiden Sportarten \u201eFootvolley\u201c alle paar Meter am Strand (meist spektakul\u00e4r) zu beobachten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Betonwelle<br \/>\n<\/b>An den Str\u00e4nden Rios herrscht fast immer ein starker Wellengang. Am Rande: w\u00e4hrend unseres Aufenthalts finden in Rio die \u201eASP Surfweltmeisterschaften\u201c statt. Am zweiten Strandtag wird Lutz beim Bodysurfing von einer ziemlich \u201eharten\u201c Welle erwischt und bekommt dabei einen Schlag gegen das Bein, der \u201esich gewaschen hat\u201c. Im Krankenhaus bekommen wir zun\u00e4chst die Nachricht \u201ekeine Knochenbr\u00fcche\u201c &#8211; um genaueres zu sagen m\u00fcssen wir uns jedoch 1 Woche gedulden, bis die Schwellung wieder abgeklungen ist. Lutz humpelt w\u00e4hrenddessen mit Beinschiene durch Rio&#8230;dann die Diagnose: B\u00e4nderanriss im rechten Knie-Innenband &amp; Nervenquetschung. Gl\u00fcck gehabt!!! Lutz muss sich keiner OP unterziehen, darf das Bein jedoch nur schonend belasten \u2013 f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten 5 Wochen sind Trekking-Touren im Gel\u00e4nde also tabu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Samba<br \/>\n<\/b>Wir sind neugierig und m\u00f6chten das \u201eSamba-Gef\u00fchl\u201c erleben. Wir lassen uns Samba-Clubs mit Livemusik empfehlen, die bei Einheimischen beliebt sind. Aufgrund Lutz Wellenbekanntschaft k\u00f6nnen wir nat\u00fcrlich nicht selbst tanzen, jedoch wenigstens die Atmosph\u00e4re sp\u00fcren. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Club \u201eRio Scenarium\u201c. Der Club fungierte fr\u00fcher als Antiquit\u00e4tengesch\u00e4ft, die Inneneinrichtung gleicht einem Museum. An den W\u00e4nden h\u00e4ngen liebevoll arrangierte Dekorationen aus antiken Gegenst\u00e4nden: Musikinstrumente, alte Registrierkassen, Druckmaschinen, Heiligenstatuen, Schmuck, Porzellan&#8230;. Der Club geht \u00fcber 3 Etagen, die \u00fcber Treppen und einem uralten Aufzug verbunden sind.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die G\u00e4ste sind schick herausgeputzt. Die Damen tanzen im kurzen Abendkleid und mit unglaublich hohen St\u00f6ckelschuhen. Die Tanzfl\u00e4che ist gerappelt voll und es macht einfach Spa\u00df den meist sehr gut tanzenden G\u00e4ste zuzuschauen. Einige der Amateurpaare w\u00fcrden in Europa vermutlich f\u00fcr Profis gehalten&#8230; Die Tanzenergie setzt Hitze frei&#8230; wir bestellen reichlich Kaltgetr\u00e4nke. Sylvia wagt ein paar Tanzschritte, Lutz muss \u201esitzen bleiben\u201c \u2013 und f\u00fchrt seine Orthop\u00e4die-\u00dcbungen unterm Tisch im Sambatakt durch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Favelas &amp; Armut<br \/>\n<\/b>Die sozialen Gegens\u00e4tze S\u00fcdamerikas sind uns nat\u00fcrlich vorab bekannt, wenn man diese jedoch vor Augen gehalten bekommt, f\u00fchlt es sich einfach anders an. Auf der Fahrt vom Flughafen in die Innenstadt offenbart sich bereits das Ausma\u00df der Armut: gesch\u00e4tzte 1 Mio. Einwohner Rios leben in Elendsvierteln (Favelas). In direkter Nachbarschaft befinden sich oft \u201eclosed communites\u201c mit \u00fcppigen Apartmentkomplexen und Villen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Als wir Rio wieder verlassen, k\u00f6nnen wir das Ausma\u00df noch besser erahnen: ungef\u00e4hr eine Stunde lang passiert der Bus entlang der Schnellstra\u00dfe die Elendsviertel \u2013 links und rechts sehen wir (illegal erbaute) windschiefe Backsteinbauten, oft ohne Fenster \u2013 das hier Menschen leben, kann man nur anhand von Planen oder Decken als Fensterersatz erkennen. Die Stra\u00dfen sind oft nicht asphaltiert, sondern \u00e4hneln matschigen Feldwegen. Stellenweise liegen M\u00fcllberge herum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In den H\u00fcgeln von Rio wohnt die Armut. Wir erfahren: in den letzten 10 Jahren hat sich einiges ge\u00e4ndert, durch Stra\u00dfenbau, Kanalisation und Polizeipr\u00e4senz gegen die \u201eDruglords\u201c ist die Situation nicht mehr ganz so prek\u00e4r. Die Armut &amp; Perspektivlosigkeit bleibt jedoch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Einige Reiseveranstalter bieten \u201eFavela Tours\u201c an &#8211; obwohl andere Rucksackreisende uns positiv davon berichten, entscheiden wir uns gegen eine solche Besichtigung.
