Wir haben eine angeborene Grundskepsis gegen\u00fcber Orten die man nicht verpassen darf \u2013 denn leider sind diese allzu oft hoffnungslos mit Touristenscharen und Souvernirshops \u00fcberlaufen. Urspr\u00fcnglich hatten wir den Besuch dieser \u201eMust See\u201c-Attraktion also nicht auf unserer Agenda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/KUVVM\" target=\"_blank\">Salta<\/a> beschlie\u00dfen wir dann einen \u201eAbstecher\u201c nach <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/mUwDV\" target=\"_blank\">Rio de Janeiro<\/a> zu machen. Direktfl\u00fcge nach Rio gibt es von dort aus nicht, Stopps sind in <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/Tnv9Q\" target=\"_blank\">Buenos Aires<\/a> oder <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/TS4BS\" target=\"_blank\">Iguazu<\/a> m\u00f6glich. Wir nehmen uns am ersten Tag die brasilianische Seite vor \u2013 und sind \u00fcberrascht das der Besucherandrang nicht so gro\u00df wie bef\u00fcrchtet ist. Das dumpf grollende Ger\u00e4usch der Wasserf\u00e4lle ist weithin zu h\u00f6ren &#8211; wir laufen bei tropischem Klima (32\u00b0 &#8211; gef\u00fchlte 99% Luftfeuchtigkeit) \u00fcber die abgesteckten Pfade durch den Dschungel. Am ersten Aussichtspunkt erhalten wir einen ersten imposanten Panoramablick \u00fcber die das gewaltige Naturschauspiel. Soweit das Auge reicht st\u00fcrzen tosende Wassermassen in die Tiefe \u2013 und ziehen uns in den Bann.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Natur pur<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>Die Wasserf\u00e4lle liegen inmitten von 2 riesigen Nationalparks (Arg\/Bras) \u2013 insgesamt \u00fcber 2.000 km\u00b2. Diese Fl\u00e4che ist haupts\u00e4chlich von undurchdringlichem Dschungel bedeckt. Dieser bietet Raum f\u00fcr eine Vielzahl von Tier- und Pflanzenarten \u2013 da dies unser erster \u201eUrwald\u201c-Besuch ist, finden wir dies fast genauso spannend wie die eigentlichen Wasserf\u00e4lle. Wir nutzen die Gelegenheit und nehmen an einer gef\u00fchrten Wanderung (zu zweit!) entlang eines Naturkundepfades teil. Uns begegnen die unterschiedlichsten Schmetterlinge \u2013 in uns bislang unbekannter Sch\u00f6nheit, Gr\u00f6\u00dfen und Farben. Vogelarten, die wir bislang nur im Zoo gesehen haben, flattern uns hier um die Ohren (Highlight: ein Tucan!). Mehrfach sto\u00dfen wir auf Nasenb\u00e4ren &#8211; die allerdings an den Touristen bzw. an deren Essensresten Gefallen finden \u2013 und uns bei jeder Gelegenheit um Futter anbetteln.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Wasserfall sticht \u201eK\u00f6nig Fussball\u201c<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nAm zweiten Tag fahren wir mit dem Bus zur argentinischen Seite. Wir haben Gl\u00fcck: im Gegensatz zum Vortag scheint die Sonne. Leider findet nachmittags (argentinische Zeit) das R\u00fcckrundenspiel Borussia Dortmund vs. Real Madrid statt. Keine Frage, das das UNESCO Weltnaturerbe Vorrang gegen\u00fcber dem Champions League Halbfinalspiel hat. Es scheint, als ob das sonnige Wetter die Touristenhorden nun auf den Plan gerufen hat: auf der argentinischen Seite schieben sich in 3-er Reihen die Massen im G\u00e4nsemarsch \u00fcber die Wege aus Tr\u00e4nenblech.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gl\u00fccklicherweise ist das Gel\u00e4nde enorm gro\u00df, so dass wir in den entlegeneren Ecken des Parks einige ungest\u00f6rten Blicke auf die Wasserf\u00e4lle in Ruhe genie\u00dfen k\u00f6nnen.
