Bekannt sind die dortigen Holzkirchen \u2013 die so besonders sind, da\u00df sie teilweise zum Unesco Weltkulturerbe geh\u00f6ren. Uns lockt nat\u00fcrlich auch die Aussicht auf fangfrische Fisch- und Meeresfr\u00fcchte in kleinen d\u00f6rflichen Restaurants. Wir planen eigentlich nur einen Abstecher von Puerto Montt aus zu unternehmen \u2013 die Insel gef\u00e4llt uns jedoch so gut, das wir letztendlich fast 10 Tage dort bleiben.<!--more--><br \/>\n<div Egal wie gebaut \u2013 meistens sind die H\u00e4user mit einem farbenfrohen leuchtenden Anstrich versehen. Das gilt auch f\u00fcr die besagten Holzkirchen. Die meisten wurden im 19 Jhd. errichtet \u2013 die missionierenden Jesuiten versprachen sich von den farbenfrohen Gottesh\u00e4usern wohl eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Anziehungskraft auf die indigene Bev\u00f6lkerung.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Samstags abends in <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps\/ms?msid=216924560580343159421.0004d5dd03ad957f1bf3b&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=-42.4802,-73.762207&amp;spn=2.20799,5.229492&amp;iwloc=0004d8134dfef62c5b6b0\" target=\"_blank\">Castro<\/a> genie\u00dfen wir noch eine Portion \u201eStadtleben\u201c: wir finden zuf\u00e4llig eine Bar, in der eine Jam-Session mit lokalen Musikern stattfindet. Von Latino-Folk bis Rock und Ragga wird gesungen und getanzt. Wir fahren nach einer langen Nacht am n\u00e4chsten Tag per Bus in das 350-Einwohner-Dorf <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps\/ms?msid=216924560580343159421.0004d5dd03ad957f1bf3b&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=-42.330124,-73.762207&amp;spn=2.213277,5.229492&amp;iwloc=0004d889ca42bc3bb880e\" target=\"_blank\">Tena\u00fan<\/a>. Dort steigen wir in einer kleinen Hosteria ab &#8211; Wirtin Mirella ist eine freundliche, st\u00e4mmige Frau mittleren Alters und eine exzellente K\u00f6chin. Mann Guido ist Teilzeit-Fischer. Wir f\u00fchlen uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl in der l\u00e4ndlichen Pension.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Landleben<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nAm ersten Abend spazieren wir durchs Dorf \u2013 und beobachten die Fischer bei ihren Arbeiten an Netzen und Booten. Wir laufen entlang der K\u00fcste in Richtung der untergehenden Abendsonne \u2013 bis Sylvia eine Gruppe von 5 Delfinen entdeckt. Die Tiere sind auf Fischfang in K\u00fcstenn\u00e4he \u2013 und schwimmen bis auf ca. 15 Meter an uns heran! Wir schauen uns das Spiel der Delfine fasziniert an und k\u00f6nnen es kaum glauben, \u201eeinfach so\u201c eine solche Privatvorstellung zu erleben.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Am n\u00e4chsten Morgen nimmt uns Gastgeber Guido in seinem Boot mit zur vorgelagerten Insel Mechuque. Die Fahrt \u00fcber neblige Wasserstra\u00dfen erzeugt eine mystische Stimmung \u2013 insbesondere als wir wiederum Delfine und Seehunde vom Boot aus beobachten. Wir erkunden die Insel und f\u00fchlen uns im dortigen Dorf wie in eine vergangene Zeit zur\u00fcckversetzt. Der Geruch von Holzofenfeuer zieht durch die schmalen Gassen \u2013 Autos gibt es nicht. \u00dcberall sind freilaufende H\u00fchner bzw. Schweine zu sehen. Die Fischer bauen ihre Boote teilweise noch selbst.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Eintopf aus dem Erdofen<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nNach einigen Tagen ziehen weiter und fahren mit Bus und F\u00e4hre auf die vorgelagerte Insel <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps\/ms?msid=216924560580343159421.0004d5dd03ad957f1bf3b&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=-42.330124,-73.762207&amp;spn=2.213277,5.229492&amp;iwloc=0004d889cfdef48eb415e\" target=\"_blank\">Quinchao<\/a>. W\u00e4hrend der Fahrt sehen wir Plakate, die das \u201eFest zur Verabschiedung der Zugv\u00f6gel\u201c in einem nahe gelegenen Dorf ank\u00fcndigt. Rechtzeitig zum Ende des Sommers wird der Strand gereinigt \u2013 und der traditionelle Eintopf aus dem Erdofen \u201eCuranto al Hoyo\u201c aufgetischt. Klar, das wir uns diese Fiesta nicht entgehen lassen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wir werden als einzige Gringo-Touristen vor Ort wieder \u00fcber Mikrofon pers\u00f6nlich begr\u00fc\u00dft. Bei der Reinigung des Strandes m\u00fcssen wir gl\u00fccklicherweise nicht mithelfen \u2013 stattdessen probieren wir erst einmal die fangfrischen Austern zu 0,80\u20ac das St\u00fcck.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Curanto-Eintopf besteht aus Miesmuscheln, H\u00fchner- und Schweinefleisch, W\u00fcrstchen, und Teigfladen aus Kartoffelteig. Die Zutaten werden schichtweise auf gl\u00fchend hei\u00dfe Steine in eine Erdkuhle gelegt. Das ganze wird mit Bl\u00e4ttern, feuchten T\u00fcchern und schlussendlich einer Erdschicht abgedeckt.
