Der Ort liegt am Eingang eines Meeresarms, der unter Naturschutz steht und ca. 40 km ins Landesinnere f\u00fchrt. Das Wetter ist gut (dh: wenig Wind = kaum Seegang) &#8211; er bietet eine 2,5-st\u00fcndige Tour entlang des Meeresarms f\u00fcr den Nachmittag an. Wir haben Gl\u00fcck und starten die Tour mit nur 3 Teilnehmern. Mit uns an Bord ist Melanie aus Conneticut, die ebenfalls f\u00fcr l\u00e4ngere Zeit unterwegs ist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Fahrt geht zun\u00e4chst quer \u00fcber den Meeresarm zu einer von Seev\u00f6geln (&#8222;Pico Amarillo&#8220;) bewohnten Felseninsel, dann weiter in Richtung Steilfelsen, in denen Kormorane nisten. Doch Claudio entdeckt ca. 20 Meter entfernt ein paar Commerson-Delfine, die immer wieder an die Wasseroberfl\u00e4che sprinten und wieder abtauchen. Wir freuen uns \u00fcber den Anblick, wie Muttertier und Jungdelfin unser Schlauchboot eine Weile spielend begleiten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Seel\u00f6wen<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAbsoluter Highlight ist der Seel\u00f6wen-Felsen, dem wir uns auf wenige Meter n\u00e4hern. Ca. 80-100 Seel\u00f6wen liegen faul in der Nachmittagssonne \u2013 und beobachten uns neugierig. Die Tiere recken sich \u2013 und manchmal scheint es, als w\u00fcrden sie uns mit ihren Flossen ein wenig zuwinken.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/M78TyUcleQY\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">N\u00e4chste Station ist die &#8222;Isla de Pajeros&#8220; (Vogelinsel) \u2013 in der eine Kolonie mit ca. 70.000 Magellan-Pinguinen zu Hause ist. Wir landen auf der Insel und d\u00fcrfen uns auch hier bis auf wenige Meter den Pinguinen n\u00e4hern. Claudio spendiert Mate-Tee und Kekse. Besser geht&#8217;s auch bei Grzimek nicht!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Isla de los Pinguinos<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nPinguine sind Sylvias absolute Lieblingstiere \u2013 und auch Lutz hat sich mittlerweile etwas von der Pinguinitis anstecken lassen. Selbstredend, das wir uns eine Exkursion zur ca. 1 Bootsstunde entfernten &#8222;Isla de los Pinguinos&#8220; nicht entgehen lassen. Das Besondere: hier f\u00fchlt sich eine Kolonie von Rockhopper-Pinguinen heimisch. Seel\u00f6wen und Magellan-Pinguine sind dort ebenfalls zu Hause \u2013 aber f\u00fcr uns ja schon fast &#8222;Alte Bekannte&#8220; \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wir starten los (diesmal mit deutlich gr\u00f6\u00dferer Tourgruppe) und m\u00fcssen die Insel erst einmal vom Boot aus \u00fcber recht glitschige Felsen erklettern. Die Rockhopper-Pinguine nisten auf k\u00fcstennahen Felsen \u2013 d.h. um dorthin zu gelangen ist eine weitere Kletterpartie erforderlich.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Doch Weg und M\u00fche lohnen sich absolut: die Rockhopper-Pinguine sind freche kleine Kerle, die sich ausschlie\u00dflich h\u00fcpfend von Felskante zu Felskante bewegen. Da die Pinguine wie kleine Punks aussehen, erkl\u00e4rt sich der Name &#8222;Rockhopper&#8220; von selbst. Wenn eine Truppe von ihnen vom Felsen aus ungest\u00fcm ins Wasser h\u00fcpft, erinnert das stark an die Fernsehserie &#8222;Die kleinen Strolche&#8220;.
